Two Banks, Two Credit Unions Closed Feb. 26

Friendship Community Federal Credit Union of Nevada is closing. Umpier Pacific Bank of Washington state is closing its branch in Washington state. The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Fund will take over the rest of the union’s operations. The bank will continue to operate as part of a joint effort to close the bank’s other branches in Nevada and Washington state. The union has more than 2,000 members in the United States. The bank is expected to close in the next two months. The federal deposit fund will be $7.9 million.”]
