Two 50-year-old men arrested in London on suspicion of hacking 70 percent of Washington DC’s CCTV cameras. Hackers demanded ransom money, but Washington DC Police rejected their demands. Ransomware is an infamous piece of malware that has been known for locking up computer files and then demanding a ransom in Bitcoins in order to help victims unlock their files. The arrest took place on 20th January by the National Crime Agency (NCA) of UK after it received a request from U.S. authorities.
