Twitter adds “forward secrecy” encryption to its sites. The social media company says the move is the latest way in which Twitter is trying to defend and protect the user’s voice. The timing is significant, given the recent disclosures that the National Security Agency is monitoring the private information of Internet users. The enhanced security shouldn’t have much of an impact on Twitter users’ day-to-day use, an expert says, as long as users are connected to a network that’s supporting the new ciphers.”]
