Turkey Blocks WikiLeaks Following Failed Military Coup

Turkey blocks WikiLeaks after it publishes nearly 300,000 internal government emails. WikiLeaks says the published information is not related to the coup plotters. President Recep Tayyip Erdoan has been purging those deemed to be disloyal to his government. The failed coup in Turkey saw warplanes firing on government buildings and tanks taking to the streets in major cities. An estimated 50,000 civil servants have also been arrested, fired or asked to resign, according to state-run media, 20 news outlets have been blocked.”]
