The Transportation Security Administration is preparing to possibly add temperature checks to pre-boarding procedures in the U.S. airports. If approved, the plan could be rolled out at about a dozen airports as soon as next week. The White House and the Department of Homeland Security have also advocated for thermal scanning to bolster consumer confidence in the safety of air travel and help jump-start the economy. Some officials at the TSA arent too comfortable with the idea of temperature scanning.
