TorrentSpy Suit Accuses MPAA of Hacking

Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) denies it paid a hacker to steal information from TorrentSpy. The file-searching company filed a lawsuit against the MPAA this week in California. The MPAA says the suit was filed in response to its own suit filed against the file-sharing site. The allegations mark the latest chapter in an ongoing dispute between file sharers and organizations like MPAA that wish to protect the copyright of content such as movies or music.
