Top 25 Most Dangerous Vulnerabilities Refreshed After 8 Years

The list with the most dangerous 25 software vulnerabilities received an update that promises to be relevant for current times. A new vulnerability is now at the top of the list, a position previously held by SQL injection. The vulnerability with the highest average severity score, 9.129 out of 10, is the vulnerability with a high probability to be exploited and impact because it can compromise databases with sensitive data. The potential for harm ranges from denial of service, exiting or restarting the vulnerable application to reading or modifying memory and executing unauthorized code or commands.
