Tool Sprawl & False Positives Hold Security Teams Back

Security teams spend as much time addressing false positive alerts as they do addressing actual cyberattacks, survey data shows. 75% of respondents say their organization spends an equal amount, or more, time on false positives as on legitimate attacks. 45% of all daily security alerts are false positives, according to a study by ESG Research and commissioned by Fastly.
