This Guy Hacked a Polaroid Camera to Print on Cheap Receipt Paper Instead of Pricey Film

Tim Alex Jacobs hacked an old Polaroid camera to print images on cheap thermal paper instead of film. The thermal paper is the same kind used in cash registers to print out receipts. Jacobs also hacked a webcam for a couple of bucks, but splurged on a $46 thermal printer that was tiny enough to squeeze inside the cameras housing once the original guts were removed. The camera was built with a Raspberry Pi controlling all of the hardware, but you’ll need more than skills with a dremel or screwdriver to build your own.”]
