The FCC rules were intended to give people more control, but now they’re dead – hence the controversy. The case has reminded people of the detailed data trail everyone leaves online, telling who we are, where we go, and what we do. This data can be captured and monitored, analyzed and packaged, and is worth money. Many from marketers to cyber criminals is interested in getting their hands on it. Many worry about personal privacy, and my job is to cultivate an equal concern for our corporate privacy.”]
