The publishing of stolen data to get victims to pay has also been a theme this week, with both Maze and Sodinokibi releasing victims data for not paying. We also saw a bunch of new variants being released into the wild, including the threat actors exploiting the Citrix ADC vulnerability. The total cost of a ransomware attack is a function of the severity and duration of the attack.
