This document makes mention of a bill that was passed to establish an agency in Trinidad and Tobago, with their core responsibility is to provide a strategical workflow for companies and/or individuals if an event occurs relating to cybercrimes.
Below are some of the key points:
- This agency will be the national point of contact for all cyber security-related matters
- This agency will heighten the awareness of cybercrimes and to provide resources to mitigate against same
- A standardized baseline for cyber security requirements will be established by this agency
- Provision of strategic tips and insights that will aid in strengthening the national network infrastructure
