The new Microsoft Edge is now mandatory in Windows 10 20H2

Windows 10 20H2 is the first release to automatically replace Microsoft Edge Legacy with the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge. Those who did not want the new Microsoft Edge could use the Edge Blocker Toolkit or Group Policy administrative templates to create Registry entries that prevent the modern browser installation. Microsoft sources have told BleepingComputer that they want to make sure that all Windows users are provided a more secure, private, and higher-performing browser with all default installations of Windows 10. The new browser is now an integral part of the operating system’s overall security landscape.
