The Mask malware campaign, undetected since 2007?

Russian anti-virus firm Kaspersky has released a 65-page report on the newly-uncovered malware. The malware, aka Careto, is a Spanish slang word meaning Mask or Ugly faces. It has been involved in cyber-espionage operations since at least 2007, says the Russian firm. But there are more eyebrow-raising elements of the malware, including a rootkit, a bootkit, versions for 32-bit Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.”]
