The LinkedIn hack that wasnt

LinkedIn and Fidelity appear to have been targeted by a DNS hijacking. The site’s DNS servers were hijacked, and users were redirected to a server belonging to Confluence-networks.com. Confluence Networks says it has resolved most issues, none of which involved malicious activity. A DDoS attack could have been the work of a crook so incompetent he didnt even realise what hed achieved, but its a good sign that it was not malicious.”]
