The influence of the Agile Manifesto 20 years on

Agile Manifesto was created by software delivery thought leaders in Snowbird, Utah, in 2001. It outlines 12 principles to delivering software based on four key values: working software over comprehensive documentation, customer collaboration over contract negotiation and following a plan. Agile has been adopted by domains outside of software development, including hardware systems, infrastructure, operations, and even business support to name a few. But given all the advancements in the last 20 years, is it still relevant? Or should it be treated like a historical document that has long since served its purpose?
