Kirk McKusick is working on a new edition of The Design and Implementation of the 4.4 BSD Operating System. It will be based on the 5.X version of the FreeBSD operating system. It is to be published by Addison-Wesley and we hope to have it out in mid to late 2004. Several cool FreeBSD books have been published recently, like Absolute BSD and the The Embedded FreeBSD Cookbook.
