Tesla Accuses Insider of Stealing Gigabytes of Data

Tesla has filed a lawsuit against a former employee, alleging that he “unlawfully hacked the company’s confidential and trade secret information” The lawsuit names Martin Tripp, a former process technician at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada. Tesla is seeking $1 million in damages. But Tripp says he’s a whistleblower whose reputation is being smeared as a result of the lawsuit.
