Teen Hacker Avoids Jail Over On-Demand DDoS Attacks

Jack Chappell, now 19, pleaded guilty to helping launch 2,000 attacks on behalf of vDos stresser/booter service. He received a 16-month sentence to be served in a young offender institution, with the sentence suspended for two years. The suspended sentence means that if he stays out of trouble and follows the court’s instructions, he will avoid having to serve time in jail.
