SEA said disruptions were made to protest newspaper’s “lies and slander about Syria,” group’s website says. SEA has previously attacked news organizations — including the BBC and al-Jazeera TV — over coverage that the group deemed to be unfavorable to the current Assad regime. A two-year civil war in Syria has claimed an estimated 70,000 lives to date.”]
