Symantec to buy network and cloud security firm Blue Coat from private-equity owners Bain Capital. As part of the deal, Blue Coat chief Greg Clark will become the company’s third CEO in four years. The boards of directors of both companies have approved the $4.65 billion deal, which is expected to close by October. The previous CEO Michael Brown was booted in April after the company missed its Q4 fiscal 2016 sales targets.
