Supermicro and PulseSecure Issue Advisories on Trickboot

Companies report several of their products are vulnerable to Trickbot malware. The updated version of Trickbot features a bootkit module that can search for vulnerabilities. Supermicro and PulseSecure issued advisories on Trickboot this past week. The bootkit is capable of discovering vulnerabilities and enabling attackers to read/write/erase a device’s BIOS. Trickbot has been a primary tool used to dispense banking Trojans along with Ryuk and Conti ransomware, Symantec says.”]
