Super Micro: Audit Didn’t Find Chinese Spying Chip

An audit of Super Micro’s motherboards found no evidence of a Chinese spy chip. Super Micro says it has never found any evidence of malicious hardware on its motherboards. The report said the Chinese government was trying to subvert the company’s supply chain. But Super Micro has stood by the story, saying it was the result of more than 100 interviews. Backing the U.S. government and U.K. officials say they have no reason to doubt the report’s conclusion. The firm says it is reviewing the report, which was published on Nov. 27.”]
