EMC’s Avamar Virtual Edition for VMware is designed to be used in production. Nexenta’s NexentaStor is a NAS product built on ZFS that can connect to other virtual machines. The product can serve up NFS, CIFS, Fibre or iSCSI connectivity to connected standalone servers that need capacity.
