Starlink Launches in Jamaica

Starlink has launched services in Jamaica and received a license to operate in Malawi. The SpaceX subsidiary also began taking orders for a new flat panel antenna designed for recreational vehicles (RVs) The company also announced this week pre-orders for its Flat High Performance Starlink, which will allow moving vehicles to use the satellite service while in motion. The company aims to make deliveries starting in December and will cost subscribers $2,500. The service map shows Starlink isn’t active in any countries across Africa, but is due to launch in Nigeria and Mozambique in 2022.
