St Lucia’s Ministry of Agriculture launches Data Share Platform

The Ministry of Agriculture launched its Data Share Platform, which allows for the centralization of the Ministry’s data based on access control lists so that requests for data do not have to be made or delivered by email but can be made available in real-time, on May 24, 2022. The platform was developed by Yi-Hsiu (Jenny) Chen, an IT Specialist attached to the Taiwan ICDF Overseas Volunteer Program, with funding from the Taiwanese Government. Speaking at the launch ceremony, Peter Chia-yen Chen said Taiwan would continue to support St Lucia’s human capacity building.
