A new Ponemon Institute report says the infamous SQL injection attack is either intensifying or remaining status quo. Nearly half say the attacks are occurring at the same rate as always, while 38% say these attacks are increasing. Just 13% of the nearly 600 respondents say they are decreasing. The report, commissioned by DB Networks, follows an April report by Ponemon that found SQL injection attacks take two months or more to clean up. Only about 12% of organizations scan their third-party software for flaws, Ponemon says.”]
