Aleksandr Andreevich Panin has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and bank fraud in relation to his role in a cybercriminal campaign that has infected over 1.4 million computers worldwide. Panin is thought to have sold the SpyEye malware kit to over 150 criminals. He was arrested in the Dominican Republic last summer and extradited to the United States where he was arrested by federal agents. Sentencing for him is scheduled for April 29, 2014 and he is due to be sentenced next month.”]
