The Spanish Ministry of Labor and Social Economy (MITES) was hit by a cyberattack on Wednesday. MITES is a ministerial department with an annual budget of almost 39 million. The ministry’s website is still up after the attack, but both the communications office and the multimedia room are down. The attack comes three months after a similar attack on Spanish government agencies hit by R-Ransomware in March. The Spanish Servicio P..blico de Empleo Estatal (SEPE) was not affected by the attack.
