Silk Road 2 was hacked into a resurrected version of the black market site. The hacker stole 4474.266 BTC, worth roughly $2.7 million. Silk Road will be offline for a couple days and will make changes to how it handles transactions. The attack hit us at the “transaction malleability” bug in Bitcoin that caused some exchanges to halt the trade of the cryptocurrency earlier this week.
