Slow, inadequate DDoS response leaving APAC companies exposed: report

Australian and Asia-Pacific businesses suffering from ‘inadequate’ response times to DDoS attacks. 39 percent of C-suite executives said they had taken 3 hours or more to detect a DDoS attack. Just 19 percent of APAC organisations found an attack within an hour, compared to 38 percent of respondents in North America and 33 percent in EMEA. DDoS for hire websites can execute an attack for less than the cost of lunch, says Neustar report. 85 percent of attacked respondents said they’d been subjected to more than one DDoS incident.”]
