Signal fixes bug that sent random images to wrong contacts

Signal has fixed a bug in its Android app that, in some cases, sent random unintended pictures to contacts without an obvious explanation. Signal’s Android developer Greyson Parrelli responded that a fix had been rolled out in version 5.17 of the Signal Android app, released this month. The bug was caused by a “rare intersection”” of database properties in the app’s database. The fixes added “”AUTOINCREMENT”” keyword to a “”ITititit”” field.”
