Should Location Data Be Used in Battle Against COVID-19?

White House in talks with tech firms to use real-time location data from smartphones to support efforts to slow spread of COVID-19. Location data could help track movements of people and allow researchers to map patterns, which could reveal the existence of hotspots and allow officials to direct more resources to specific areas.
