New DDoS Trends and Analysis Report warns of Trojan Horse DDoS Attacks intended to disrupt and distract network operators from more destructive security threats. Short, frequent, low-volume DDoS attacks continue to dominate, according to Corero research. The majority of attacks recorded lasted less than 10 minutes in duration, but a slight increase in attacks lasting 20 minutes or longer.
