A bipartisan group of senators is circulating a draft of a federal breach notification bill. The bill would require federal agencies, contractors and businesses that have oversight over the nation’s critical infrastructure to report significant cyberthreats to the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within 24 hours of discovery. The Senate Intelligence Committee has been investigating the SolarWinds attack and other cyber incidents since the start of this year.”]
