Senate Passes Infrastructure Bill Boosting Cyber Funding

The Senate passed a $1 trillion infrastructure spending bill by a vote of 69-30 on Tuesday. The bill would provide additional money for cybersecurity over the next several years. It includes extra funds for the Department of Homeland Security and its Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. The measure will now be considered by the House, which will take up a broader spending bill before it takes up the bill. The White House’s fiscal 2022 budget proposal also includes billions in spending for U.S. cybersecurity.”]
