Security Incident Leads Scripps Health to Postpone Care

Scripps Health has been forced to postpone some patient care as a result of what local news outlets say is a ransomware attack. Local media reports that some emergency care patients were being diverted to other hospitals as a precautionary measure. Ransomware and other cyberattacks clearly are beginning to have an impact on the quality of care, experts say. Cyberattacks have disrupted care at 47 or more locations this year, one analyst says, “Dealing with this problem isnt going to be easy””]
