In December 2018, Gemini Advisory covered a breach of Click2Gov, a self-service bill-pay portal for utilities, community development, and parking tickets. Over 300,000 payment card records were compromised across a variety of US cities using this portal. Over 20,000 records from eight cities in five different states have been offered for sale in the dark web. The portals of six of the eight cities had been compromised in the initial breach. Many of the affected cities have patched their systems since the original breach, but several of the same cities were affected.”]
