‘Sea Turtle’ DNS Hijackers Expand Reach

Cisco Talos calls Sea Turtle group ‘unusually brazen’ and ‘likely to be deterred going forward’ Group behind Sea Turtle espionage campaign is expanding its geographic reach. Cisco’s Talos unit has uncovered a new DNS hijacking technique that is similar to the Sea Turtle attacks. The list of the latest victims includes targets in the U.S., Greece, Switzerland, Cyprus and Sudan, according to the report.
