Samsung has launched 12GB LPDDR4 (low power, double data rate 4) DRAM Chip that will offer 6GB RAM for the upcoming Next Generation Smartphones and tablets. The DRAM chip also boasts of having speed twice as fast as DDR4 DRAM for desktops or laptops. The mobile memory being designed for smartphones and tablets plans to expand to ultra-slim PCs and IoT devices. The next generation mobile phones are supposed to be equipped with the new mobile DRAM.
