Samsung investigating report of keylogger on its laptops

Samsung is investigating allegations that some models of its laptops contain keylogging software. The software could be used to record anything typed on the laptop computers. Samsung says it has “no prior knowledge of this software being on our laptops” The Electronic Frontier Foundation says Samsung could be in trouble for installing keyloggers on customers’ computers. Keyloggers are commonly used by hackers to steal sensitive information including usernames and passwords from hacked computers, but some legitimate uses include recovering text in the event of a computer crash.”]
