Samsung Galaxy S10 Fingerprint Scanner Tricked with 3D Print

Reddit user darkshark9 shows Samsung Galaxy S10 can be fooled by 3D printed fingerprint. Samsung’s in-screen fingerprint scanner can be duped into unlocking the device with the help of a photo taken from a wine glass taken using the smartphone. Samsung says the in-display fingerprint scanner is “security at your fingertips”” as well as a pin or password to protect sensitive data is not as secure as the Korean company touts it to be. Face unlock also shown to be insecure as shown last month by Dutch not-for-profit organization.”
