Robinhood Warns Customers of Tax-Season Phishing Scams

Stock-trading broker Robinhood warns of a phishing scam targeting customers. Attackers are impersonating Robinhood using fake websites and sending emails with malicious tax files. Robinhood aims to make it easy for people to trade stocks online but has faced regulatory and legal challenges. The company recommends people only download the Robinhood app from Google Play or the Apple App Store to access their accounts or access tax forms, the email says. The firm also recommends people check the strength of security features of the app on their devices.
