Customers are reporting performance issues trying to trade on Vanguard, Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Robinhood, and Merril Lynch this morning. Users began reporting on Twitter that they could not use the company’s trading sites and mobile apps. Most of the platforms are using Akamai as part of their connectivity, which in earlier tests conducted by BleepingComputer showed extremely high connection response times when connecting to investor.vanguard.com. The issue does not impact the thinkorswim desktop or the thinkorwim mobile app.
