Roanoke College has delayed their spring semester by almost a month after a cyberattack has impacted files and data access. The college’s spring semester was originally scheduled for January 19th, 2021, but has been pushed back to February 8th. College likely suffered a ransomware attack and the spread of Coronavirus has forced them to disconnect their IT systems to stop the spread. Staff and students are advised not to use computers on the campus network or access their email and other Office 365 applications as they have not been identified as a safe environment.
