Kaspersky Labs’ new research shows some links between Shamoon and StoneDrill malware. The new malware is, like Shamoon, a wiper — it destroys all the data on a computer. Shamoon attack, which occurred in 2012, was followed by a series of related attacks against against Gulf States earlier this year.
