Yahoo, Lycos, WinZip and Lycos among Shellshock-targeting attackers hacked into Yahoo servers. Yahoo says it has been patching its systems against Shellshock since Sept. 24. Researchers have seen about 11 different types of attacks that target Shellshock flaws. Shellshock is a remote exploit in the Bash command-line interface used in many flavors of the Unix operating system.
