Report: Romanian Authorities Bust VoIP Hacking Group

42 people were breaking up a network that had caused more than $13.5m in losses to U.S., UK, Italy and Romania. The network was headed by two Romanians and used it to place calls to premium rate numbers. There have been increasing number of cases of VoIP hacking in recent years. The problem has become an increasing problem as more people use the internet to make calls to pay for a premium rate rate rate of phone service, according to experts at the World Trade Center.
