Report: HP CEO, Directors Broke Rules in New Board Nominees

Three directors broke the rules by participating in the nomination of five new members of the board of directors, according to the Wall Street Journal. The three directors violated the rules of the company’s own board, the report said. The decision was made following the resignation of former CEO Mark Hurd, who was being sued by Oracle for $1.3 billion for alleged theft of intellectual property. The company has not commented on the controversy surrounding the appointment of the new directors, but said it will continue to work with the company.”]
