How to remove Windows Range Manager

Windows Range Manager is a potentially unwanted program, or PUP, that is installed by free software you download from the Internet. When installed, this program will configure itself to automatically start when you login to Windows. This constant downloading of web pages only uses up your computer’s network bandwidth and could possibly slow down your computer. The program’s web site, rangesoft.org, does not list the program as a product, but instead promotes another product called Online Ad Scanner. The company’s website states that it is designed to collect traffic statistics related to advertising.
